Here are some striking pictures of us at Camden Yards baseball park this past late September, 2008 on Sunday after a great in-store tasting with Rob, Pete, Nick, Liz, Ed, Alan and Barbara. What fun, what memories. The Orioles lost and yet we had a blast! These pictures are just as we were leaving to return home to taste some excellent old vintages I had at home as well as to cook some honkin' steaks ( Nick did them perfectly ) .
The wineries represented were : LOOSE END, WEST CAPE HOWE, LONGVIEW, VINACEOUS , PICARDY ( Dan had to fly home to his cute daughter's birthday celebration but was very much with us anyway ): and from New Zealand LAWSONS ( Barbara took the day off to rest but was still very much with us as she had been here at Cleveland Park Wines & Spirits ( 202-363-4265 www.clevelandparkwine.com ) in our nation's capitol the day before tasting here wines.
