Enjoy some of these artsy photos that I took our my tour with Chris Pigott of the Country Vintner back then as Duncan led us two around. What grand memories, what a beautiful setting for almost anything and what a great range of wines, too.

I will write more soon but in the meantime enjoy these photos as they tell many stories themselves.

Michael Kerrigan The Winemaker Of HAY SHED HILL Visits Cleveland Park Wines & Spirits Sat. Sept. 19th, 2009 4-8 PM

We had a great visit at HAY SHED HILL and then later met up with Michael again that night on the main strip of Margaret River that looks a bit like California - maybe Healdsburg in Napa Valley?

We Had a blast : Chris Pigott, Nick Stacey, Michael Kerrigan and myself ( Anthony Quinn ). I was starting to really love being in Australia and Michael tasted us on recent and past successes of his at this dinner just a few steps up the street from where we had earlier had lunch with owner and winemaker Dan Pannell of the PICARDY Winery in Pemberton, western Australia.

I was very excited earlier at the HAY SHED HILL Winery where we tasted through the whole line of the wines : all levels, grapes and price ranges. I found the quality to be high indeed.





The wines have now been at Cleveland Park Wines & Spirits now for several months and we have tasted them in the store now with our Country Vintner rep Arielle Monaco and they have always found a buying and appreciative audience.




Tomorrow should be no different and we will undoubtedly sell more as we will have Michael there himself to sign the bottles and to speak about all their ins and outs. They make really nice wines to enjoy with a broad range of foods, too and they all sell for between $20-$22 a bottle.




I will speak more about this stage of our trip in western Australia but let me once again mention that I was beginning to really relax and feel no pain at all - just grand pleasure. Thank you Michael for your part in all of this. Cheers to you and this visit and to catching up with you now after a year and a half has passed since we last met in your own home turf in the Margaret River of western Australia.
